Abstract:
The method involves supplying a signal alternately to a piezoelectric actuator during starting phase of a piezoelectric pump. The supply signal to the piezoelectric actuator is modified during operating phase of the piezoelectric pump so that medium flow provided by the pump during operating phase is lesser than the flow provided by the pump during the starting phase. A pumping room is provided with a mobile wall that is moved by action of the piezoelectric actuator. Tension of the signal during the operating phase is lesser than tension of the signal during the starting phase. An independent claim is also included for an electrical household appliance.
