Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honing method having high reliability in an evaluation result of a surface property and shape accuracy of a bore in each processing condition.SOLUTION: There is provided a honing method of an internal peripheral face (W1b) of a bore (W1a) of a cylinder block (W1). In the method, a plurality of processing conditions (S31 to S35) which can perform processing so that the internal peripheral face (W1b) of the bore (W1a) has prescribed parallelism (H2) and surface roughness (SH to SL) are confirmed (S1). The cylinder block (W1) as a test piece is fixed to a honing processor (10)(S2). Furthermore, the internal peripheral face (W1b) of the bore (W1a) is processed a plurality of times (S3) at a minimum machining allowance under a plurality of the processing conditions (S31 to S35).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
