A honing tool 10 comprises a cylindrical member 14, a bar-like member 16, a rod 18, a sand paper 20 mounted to the bar-like member, and a positioning means 22. The bar-like member comprises one end engaged with the cylindrical member and fixed to it releasably, and another end having an opening recessed part 42 and a wall surface 44 comprising a conical surface having an opening recessed part widening toward the tip. The bar-like member further comprises a through-hole 46 extending along the axial line and a plurality of slits 48 disposed at a constant interval in the circumferential direction, continuing to the through-hole and the opening recessed part. The rod comprises a head 50 contacting with the wall surface 44 of the opening recessed part in the bar-like member and a shaft part 52 extending in the through hole 46. The sand paper is adhered to the peripheral surface of another end of the bar-like member. The positioning means 22 determines a relative position of the rod to the bar-like member.
