Abstract:
To provide a horizontal type rotary compressor having improved performance, while smoothly supplying oil by an oil feeding means.
An upper part in a sealed vessel 12 is partially partitioned into the motor-driven element 14 side and the oil pump 101 side by a baffle plate 200. Refrigerant gas sucked in from the outside of the sealed vessel 12 is compressed by first and second rotary compression elements 32 and 34, and is delivered outside the sealed vessel 12 from the oil pump 101 side after being delivered to the motor-driven element 14 side of the baffle plate 200. The baffle plate 200 blocks up 50% to 80% of the passage area of the refrigerant gas above an oil level in the sealed vessel 12 at stopping time.
