Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a horizontal type rotary kiln device, capable of effecting sufficient process by heating for a long period of time while circulating granular bodies, having a sufficient strength, eliminating the leakage of gas and being miniaturized.
CONSTITUTION: An annular flow passage 10 of heating fluid is formed between an outer tube 3 and a tubular body 1. The outer tube 3 and the tubular body 1 are formed so as to be rotated integrally and the tubular body 1 is provided with an opening 2 at one end thereof while the other end of the same is sealed. A partitioning wall 13, parallel to the axial line, is provided in the tubular body 1 excluding both end sections thereof while guide plates 14, slanted into the same direction substantially, are attached to both surfaces of the partitioning wall 13.
