Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hosiery or a cylindrical lower limb supporter, which makes higher compressive pressure applied to a wearer's ankle than to other regions when he/she wears it, and which can reduce a force required when he/she wears it.SOLUTION: Hosiery or a cylindrical lower limb supporter is knitted so that a compressive pressure distribution making compressive pressure sequentially lower toward a wearer's calf from his/her ankle can act on his/her ankle and calf, when he/she wears the hosiery or the cylindrical lower limb supporter. In the hosiery or the cylindrical lower limb supporter, an area for covering his/her ankle part between the front of a leg part and the front of a foot part is knitted with larger stitches than other areas.
