Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air heater which performs optimum heating load correction by taking difference in use environment into account and which can raise temperature to a preset temperature quickly.SOLUTION: A hot air heater includes: temperature detection means 12 for detecting a room temperature; temperature setting means 11 for setting a heating room temperature; and heating load control means 4 for performing operation control by calculating the number of stages of heating load from the difference between the preset temperature and the detected temperature. The case where an operation by the maximum heating load is performed for predetermined time or more from the operation start is made to be an initial maximum heating load operation. The heating load control means 4 determines an off-set amount for increasing/decreasing the number of stages of heating load at the operation start of this time from a temperature rise gradient in the previous initial maximum heating load operation, and after the termination of the initial maximum heating load operation, the off-set amount for increasing/decreasing the number of stages of heating load is corrected in a predetermined cycle.
