Abstract:
To improve safety by detecting hole formation of a heat exchanger of a hot water storage type water heater provided with a heat exchanger for bathtub water reheating.
In the hot water storage type water heater built in with the heat exchanger 29 for bathtub water reheating in a hot water storage tank 22, a breakage detecting means is provided for detecting breakage of a bathtub heat transfer passage 29 when there is no bathtub water reheating action, and a malfunction signaling means 30c such as lamp lighting or operation of a warning sound is provided for signaling a malfunction warning when the breakage detecting means detects breakage of the bathtub heat transfer passage 29.
