To provide a housing device for enlarging the degree of freedom for the size/external shape or the like of a housable device main body and the peripheral device, surely protecting small-sized electronic equipment and the peripheral device during transportation, protecting them from electric destruction by static electricity further and making a case itself light in weight without the problem of portability or safety at the time of transporting and moving them in the state of connecting the peripheral device to the small-sized electronic equipment, that is in an operable state.

This housing device is provided with a case base 1 and a case lid 5 composed of a material having sufficient strength whose one end edge each is freely openably and closably pivoted by a hinge part 3 and buffer members 2 and 6 composed of an elastic material and arranged on the inner side of the case base and the case lid respectively. By closing the case lid on the case base with the hinge part as a center in the state of mounting the small-sized electronic equipment or the like on the buffer member on the side of the case base, the small-sized electronic equipment or the like is protected while being brought into tight press contact and fixed between both buffer members.
