PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing such that recessed parts provided on an inclined surface or curved surface of a bottom surface can have bottom surfaces and opening surfaces in the same shape, and many recessed parts can be provided side by side at constant intervals and also arranged with a high degree of freedom so that the housing has excellent heat radiation efficiency and a good outward appearance, a display unit with the housing, and a television receiver with the display unit.SOLUTION: A part of a rear cabinet 4 of a TV receiver which ranges from an upper end part of a bottom surface down to substantially 1/5 in a height direction comprises an inclined part which is inclined to an opening 4a and a curved part. Recessed parts 41, 42, 43, 44, and 45 which are recessed inward and rectangular in front view are provided downward in order from an upper end part of the inclined part. Holes 41a, 41b etc., are provided in a bottom surface of the recessed part 41 etc., an inner wall of the recessed part 41 etc., has an undersurface longer in depth than a top surface, and a side face is substantially in a trapezoid shape. A gradient of the side face of the recessed part 41 etc., to an opening peripheral edge part is different corresponding to a vertical position of the side face.
