Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing and holding device for a jib which simply, surely, and safely executes a fitting work to holders in housing the jib in a base end boom and a release work from a housed state.
SOLUTION: Holders 30, 40 are provided in a base end boom 11 side wall and a jib 20 side wall respectively and a lever 44a which is rotatable about a fulcrum and has a recessed part in its tip is provided in either one of the holders. When the jib 20 is housed by being rotated after contracting a multi- stage boom with its attached to the tip of the multi-stage boom or the jib 20 is housed by contacting the multi-stage boom after rotating the jib 20, at first one 40 of the holders is engaged with the other 30 so that when the lever 44a of the one holder 40 is rotated in this state, the recessed part of the lever tip is engaged with the other holder 30 so that the jib is housed and held by the base end boom side.
