Title:
HOUSING FOR STORING CONTACTING COIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2613168
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent friction of a steering handle from occurring noise, by separating housing parts each other in assembling condition and making one housing cover an annular chamber axially with a space.
CONSTITUTION: One housing parts 5 is fixed to a steering handle 3, and is used as a rotor. The other housing part 6 is connected with a fixed casing tube 2 of a steering shaft tube through a holder 7, and is used as a stator. The housing part 6 has an annular chamber 18 which accommodates a contacting coil 12, and the annular chamber 18 consists of a circular-arc-shaped inside wall 16 and a cylindrical outside-wall 17 which is arranged with a space from the inside-wall. Because housing parts 5, 6 are arranged axially with a small space from each other, housing parts 5, 6 are not contacted each other if the handle 3 rotates. Thus, when a handle 3 rotates, friction of the housing parts and noise based on the friction are eliminated.
