Title:
PARTIAL MAGNETIZING DEVICE FOR ERASING HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2613167
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make possible the partial magnetization of many erasing heads in a short period of time by holding and fixing an assembly for magnetization formed by removably skewering the many erasing heads by a shaft rod to a holding part above a magnetizing part and magnetizing this assembly by cathode and anode side electrode bars of this magnetizing part.
CONSTITUTION: The assembly 17 for magnetization consisting of the many erasing head bodies 29 formed of cases 27 and magnet elementary bodies 28 is formed by removably skewering the shaft rod 30 into holes disposed perpendicularly to the traveling direction of a magnetic tape in the cases 27 of the erasing head bodies 29. The assembly 17 for magnetization consisting of the the many bodies 29 is then held and fixed by a lateral holding member 21 and an upper holding member 24 to the holding part above the magnetizing part. The erasing heads of 25 to 30 pieces in number are partially magnetized in the short period of time of about 5 seconds if high pulse currents are passed to the cathode electrode bar 4 and anode electrode bar 5 of the magnetizing part in this state.
