Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing mainly for electric appliances in which a part can be built in easily and the production cost of which is reduced.
SOLUTION: The housing 10 having a rectangular parallelepiped shape is composed by jointing an upper box 12 and a lower box 14 formed by folding a steel plate, wherein the four side faces of the upper box 12 are hung down, being folded nearly in a right angle, from the four sides of a top face 16, the four side faces of the lower box 14 stand, being folded nearly in a right angle from the four sides of a bottom face 18, an overlapped part, which is extended from either of the side faces and folded inside, is provided on adjacent sections of the side faces of the upper box 12 and adjacent sections of the side faces of the lower box 14 and the lower box 14 and upper box 12 are screwed on at least two overlapped parts. And in particular, the housing 10 is composed of the upper box 12 having at least a side face with a lower height than other side faces and the lower box 14 which is jointed to the upper box 12 to form the rectangular parallelepiped shape.
