Abstract:
To provide a cake washing method of a filter press capable of washing the whole area of a dewatered cake in a filtration chamber with a small amount of a washing liquid using a diaphragm.SOLUTION: In a cake washing method of a filter press, each of a plurality of divided diaphragms is independently expansible at the forward washing of a cake in a filtration chamber 3, a washing liquid is supplied in a state that a diaphragm 12 adjacent to the discharge port of the washing liquid communicating to the filtration chamber 3 is expanded more than a diaphragm 11 far from the discharge port of the washing liquid communicating to the filtration chamber 3, and a small amount of the washing liquid can be supplied to a place where the cake in the filtration chamber 3 is hardly in contact with the washing liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
