Abstract:
To efficiently collect a silver anode.SOLUTION: The method for collecting silver comprises: the melting step of inserting reduced silver in an oxidation furnace to melt it; the crush step of crushing litharge obtained in the melting step; the separation step of separating the crushed material obtained in the crush step into silver metal and demetallized litharge; and the step of inserting the silver metal separated in the separation step into the oxidation furnace. The separation step includes supplying the crushed material to a specific gravity sorter to separate it into the silver metal and the demetallized litharge. The specific gravity sorter uses an air table, for example, a biaxial air table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
