PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dynamic range of image decoding.SOLUTION: A method for decoding video includes a step of receiving quantized coefficients indicating a block of the video showing a plurality of pixels. The quantized coefficients are de-quantized on the basis of a function of a remainder.
