Abstract:
To provide a treatment method of lithium ion battery waste which can safely treat lithium ion battery waste and can efficiently roast the lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: A treatment method of lithium ion battery waste includes a battery storage process of housing a plurality of pieces of lithium ion battery waste 1 into a storage container 2, storing water or salt water 3, immersing the whole of the plurality of pieces of lithium ion battery waste 1 into the water or salt water 3 within the storage container 2 and storing the lithium ion battery waste 1, a battery taking-out process of separating the lithium ion battery waste 1 from the water or salt water 3 and taking out the lithium ion battery waste from storage container 2 interior and a battery roasting process of directly applying flame to the lithium ion battery waste 1 in such a state that moisture remains after the battery taking out process and roasting the lithium ion battery waste 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
