Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a gypsum slurry having a high density of an intended range. SOLUTION: The method for preparing the gypsum slurry for molding a gypsum board comprises the steps of agitating a low-density slurry in a sub- mixer to break foams in the slurry to a high-density slurry, adding foams or a foaming agent to the high-density slurry after or simultaneously upon foam breaking, re-agitating the mixture to make a density of the obtained gypsum slurry higher than that of the gypsum slurry obtained by a main mixer.
