Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a thermoplastic hot melt adhesive comprising a polymer in an amount of at least 50% by weight of the hot melt adhesive composition, wherein the polymer is a polyester which is a reaction product of a dicarboxylic acid or an ester forming derivative thereof and a polyol having two hydroxyl groups per molecule and wherein the polymer is semi-crystalline, has a melting point from 40 to 200°C, a glass transition temperature below 40°C and a melt viscosity at 150°C of lower than 100 Pa·s and equal to or higher than 8 Pa·s.
