Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method capable of preventing environmental pollution from occurring even in a case of adding a complicated pattern to an outer covering case for a hot water unit, excellent in productivity because of a simple work process, and capable of manufacturing the outer covering case at low cost.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an outer covering case for a hot water unit comprises: a pressing step of pressing a flat metal plate to form a component of an outer covering case used to store water heater for hot water generation or for hot water storage therein; and a painting step of painting either of characters, a symbol, a diagram or patterns to the component of the outer covering case. The painting step comprises an inkjet printing step of inkjet printing the flat metal plate to form an inkjet printing layer. The pressing step is executed after the inkjet printing step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
