Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which a vehicle allocation service can be properly carried out for a user who desires to use an autonomous mobile body.SOLUTION: A method for operating an autonomous mobile body includes: a first step (STEP 3) of moving an autonomous mobile body 1 so as to bring the autonomous mobile body 1 to be used close to a person who desires to use the autonomous mobile body 1 on the basis of information on the position of the person who desires to use the autonomous mobile body; a second step (STEP 3) of identifying the person who desires to use the autonomous mobile body from the surroundings of the autonomous mobile body 1 to be used on the basis of identification information on the person who desires to use the autonomous mobile body; and a third step (STEPS 5, 6) of causing the autonomous mobile body 1 to be used to perform either one of operations of combination patterns different from each other depending on whether the identification of the person who desires to use the autonomous mobile body is successful or failed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
