Abstract:
To prevent sticking of a scale component without increasing the quantity of make-up water to be used in an open cooling water system.
Cooling water in a cooling tower 1 is circulated in an absorption refrigerator 3 by a pump P. When stopping operation of this absorption refrigerator 3, supply of the make-up water from a make-up water pipe 10 and/or a blow by a blow pipe 12 are performed in the first place, and electric conductivity of the cooling water is changed to a prescribed value lower than target electric conductivity in operation. Next, supply of the cooling water to the absorption refrigerator 3 is stopped, and the whole absorption refrigerator 3 is finally stopped.
