Title:
PRINTER DEVICE USING INTER-DOCUMENT GAP TO REDUCE MOTION DISTURBANCE AND METHOD OF OPERATING PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018106195
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer using inter-document gap to reduce motion disturbance.SOLUTION: A printing device includes first and second fuser rollers 104, 106 arranged to displace a plurality of sheets 108, 110 of print material in a process direction, and is configured to substantially simultaneously disengage from a trailing edge of a first sheet 108 from the plurality of sheets and engage a leading edge of a second sheet 110 from the plurality of sheets. The printing device includes: a fuser section 102 for printing operations and including first and second fuser rollers 104, 106; a motor arranged to rotate the first and second fuser rollers 104, 106 to displace a plurality of sheets 108, 110 of material in a process direction; and a control system configured to measure a torque produced by the motor and according to a value of the measured torque, control a speed at which the first and second fuser rollers 104, 106 displace the plurality of sheets of print material in the process direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
