PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical laminate.SOLUTION: An optical laminate is disclosed. The optical laminate includes light redirecting film having a first major surface which is structured to include a plurality of integral discrete structures. The optical laminate further includes an optical adhesive layer disposed on the light redirecting film. At least a portion of at least some integral discrete structures of the plurality of integral discrete structures intrude into the optical adhesive layer. At least a portion of at least some integral discrete structures of the plurality of integral discrete structures do not intrude into the optical adhesive layer. Peeling strength between the light redirecting film and the optical adhesive layer is greater than about 30 grams/inch (11.8 g/cm). An average effective transmittance of the optical laminate is not lower, or lower by about 10% or less, compared with an optical laminate having the same structure except that there is no integral discrete structures that intrude into the optical adhesive layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
