Abstract:
To provide a recycling method of shredder dust making the shredder dust reusable as an additive like a carburizing material or auxiliary fuel for an iron manufacturing or steel manufacturing furnace, and easily regulatable in the combustion speed.
A combustion speed control agent is mixed to shredder dust containing combustible matter to have its content of 3-60 mass%, the mixture is reduced in volume and used as the additive for the iron manufacturing or steel manufacturing furnace. The combustion speed control agent can be selected among reduced slag, converter slag, lime stone, magnesia, dolomite, and silica. Bulk specific gravity of the volume-reduced matter is set to 0.8-1.5.
