Abstract:
To provide an ion exchange unit capable of reusing water discharged when replacing the ion exchange resin.SOLUTION: An ion exchange unit removing ions from water includes a first container which contains an ion exchange resin; a first water supply passage which supplies water to the first container; an ion exchange resin supply passage which supplies the ion exchange resin to the first container; a first discharge passage through which the water from which ions have been removed is discharged from the first container; and a second discharge passage through which the ion exchange resin contained in the first container is discharged together with the water in the first container; a pump to feed the ion exchange resin and water discharged into the second discharge passage; a second container to store the ion exchange resin and water fed by the pump; and a second water supply passage to supply the water stored in the second container to the first container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
