PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new human gene consisting of a human gene containing a base sequence coding for a whole or a part of a specific amino acid sequence, under a specific transcription regulation by a cancer suppressing gene p53, and useful for the gene diagnosis and treatment of a human disease.
SOLUTION: This human gene is a new human gene containing a whole or a part of an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula and under a specific transcription regulation by a cancer suppressing gene p53, useful for a guide of the diagnosis and treatment of a human disease and capable of utilizing for the development of a gene diagnosis and a new treating method. This human gene is obtained by screening a cosmid library of human peripheral blood lymphocytes by using a [32P] labeled probe containing the cancer suppressing gene p53 tag site, digesting the obtained cosmid with a restriction enzyme, integrating the digested material into COS7 cells, extracting all RNA after culturing the cells, synthesizing a cDNA by using the extracted RNA as a templet and amplifying the cDNA by a CPR method.
