Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a protein of a human heart myosin L2 chain, by transforming a host cell with a plasmid vector into which a DNA segment having a sequence encoding a protein of a human heart myosin L2 chain is inserted.
CONSTITUTION: A DNA segment having a sequence encoding a protein of a human heart myosin L2 chain or a fragment of the DNA segment is inserted into a plasmid vector to form a recombinant plasmid comprising the plasmid vector. A host cell is transduced with the recombinant plasmid, is transformed and cultured in a proper medium until the protein of human heart myosin L2 chain or a part of the protein is formed. Then the protein of human heart myosin L2 chain or a part of the protein is separated from the medium.
