Abstract:

To provide a protein, a nucleic acid sequence and an antibody which are expected to be used as a new contraceptive means.

The invention relates to the testis-specific kinase family (tssk family), nucleic acid sequence encoding the kinase and antibody against the kinase. Further, the use of the kinase as a target for isolating a specific inhibitor, or as an antagonist of the tssk kinase activity is provided. The inhibitor is expected to be used as the contraceptive.
