To provide a human power driving device of an elevator hoisting machine capable of transmitting drive power by human power via a belt and a brake drum to the rotary shaft of the hoisting machine by winding the belt around the brake drum of the hoisting machine and easily realizing the human power operation of an elevator without being accompanied by design change of the hoisting machine.
The human power driving device 100 includes: a pulley 8 attached rotatably around a first shaft to a body part 6 and arranged so as to be positioned together with the brake drum 24 on the same plane orthogonal to a rotary shaft 22 with the first shaft made in parallel with the rotary shaft 22 of the hoisting machine 20; an operation handle 9 coaxially fixed to the pulley 8; the belt 13 wound around the pulley 8 and the brake drum 24 to transmit rotary torque of the pulley 8 to the brake drum 24; and a tension adjusting bolt 3 screwed to a female screw part formed on a frame 1 and configured to elevate and lower the body part 6 to adjust the tension of the belt 13.
