Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new VNTR (variable number of tandem repeat) sequence exhibiting a restriction fragment length polymorphism.
CONSTITUTION: Eight kinds of new human VNTR sequences including a human VNTR sequence existing at the position of p21.3 of the human 6th chromosome and exhibiting a restriction fragment length polymorphism by PstI and PvuII and containing at least 7 alleles between 3.5kb and 2.8kb in PstI and containing at least 6 alleles between 1.8kb and 1.2kb in PvuII, and probes having these human VNTR sequences.
