To switch a disk device and a nonvolatile semiconductor memory according to user's specification or environmental conditions and to perform control for guaranteeing consistency of data and continuation of processing when switching them in an information processor having the disk device and the nonvolatile semiconductor memory.
The information processor is provided with hybrid storage having the disk device and the nonvolatile semiconductor memory, a storage medium considered as an object of reading and writing of the hybrid storage is selected to any of the disk device and the nonvolatile semiconductor memory and switched according to the user's specification or working conditions such as temperature, vibration, impact and noise. Then, a file management means for holding the consistency of data to be an object for reading and writing, continuing the processing executed by the information processor and accessing a switched storage medium when the storage medium is switched, is provided.
