In synthesis of colors and an opacity value of a source side pixel and colors and an opacity value of a objective side pixel, (i) colors and the opacity values of each of the source side pixel and the objective side pixel are normalized, at least two areas, a completely opaque area and the other completely transparent area are defined, (k) the area of the objective side pixel goes straight to the area of an original pixel to cross the area, (i) a source side pixel outside the objective side pixel, (ii) an intersection part between the source side and objective side pixel and (iii) an opacity value of the objective side pixel outside the source side pixel are derived to each of three intersection areas, (l) an intersection color value of the source side pixel and the objective side is determined as an opacity component of the pixel value synthesized according to a predetermined raster operation and (m) the opacity component of the synthesized pixel value is determined using the predetermined raster operation and the sum of the product of the selected color and opacity value expressed using the (i)-(iii).
