To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle capable of reducing the loss of a second motor generator even when a car speed is increased in a fixed gear ratio mode.
This control device for the hybrid vehicle comprises a motor generator clutch for connecting and disconnecting a first motor generator and a differential device, a high-low brake for fixing a first motor generator input element of the differential device in a state of frequency zero, and a series clutch for connecting the first motor generator and an engine. A loss reducing mode for connecting the first motor generator and the engine is performed by engaging the series clutch in a high car-speed area during the traveling in the fixed gear ratio mode where the first motor generator input element is fixed by the high-low brake, and the vehicle is traveled by the driving force of the second motor generator and the engine.
