Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle which is compatible, in evacuation traveling, in both the prevention of the damage of a component by avoiding a resonance zone and the suppression of excessive power generation.SOLUTION: When a short circuit failure occurs in an inverter which drives a motor generator MG1, a control device 200 stops the operation of an engine 100, and makes a vehicle perform evacuation-travel by a motor generator MG2. During the evacuation traveling, when a power generation amount in the motor generator MG1 exceeds a value which is defined on the basis of power which is acceptable to a power accumulation device 10, the control device 200 suppresses the power generation amount in the motor generator MG1 by advancing an electric VVT device 400400. When a rotational speed of the engine 100 is in a prescribed resonance zone, the control device 200 controls the electric VVT device 400400 to the most retardant position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
