Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle that can elongate stay time in an EV traveling mode and thus can improve fuel economy.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 1 includes a first power storage device 30 and a second power storage device 31 having characteristics different from each other. The hybrid vehicle 1 further includes switches 40, 41 for forming either of a first connection state where the first power storage device 30 and the second power storage device 31 are connected in parallel with general load 37 and protected load 38 or a second connection state where a battery is connected to the general load 37 and the second power storage device 31 is connected to the protected load 38. In addition, the hybrid vehicle 1 includes a connection switch control section for controlling the connection state of the connection switches. While an EV traveling mode enabling traveling by using power output from a motor generator 4 is being executed, the connection switch control section causes the switches 40, 41 to become the second connection state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
