Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure monitoring system capable of obtaining a dark current reduction effect.SOLUTION: A tire air pressure monitoring system performs frame reception on a receiver for every intermittent period during off of IG, and stops intermittent reception when change of a tire air pressure quiets down. Then, the tire air pressure and an ambient temperature value at the time are stored as an off-time air pressure and off-time ambient temperature as a value during off of IG. Therefore, when the IG is turned on next time, the tire air pressure is quickly displayed using the off-time air pressure and off-time ambient temperature, and a period when the receiver 3 continues intermittent reception can be shortened, and increase of a dark current can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
