Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of achieving forwarding and backwarding movement under various driven conditions of, e.g. an independent motor without increasing the total length, weight and cost of a transmission and of regenerating energy during reducing speed.
SOLUTION: A positively/reversely changing mechanism 4 which includes a planetary gear unit consisting of three elements of carriers 12 for pivotally supporting planetary pinions 11 among a ring gear 13, a sun gear 10, a ring gear 13 and the sun gear 10, a brake 14 for braking the first element as one element out of three elements 13, 10, 12 and a clutch 15 capable of connecting/ disconnecting two elements out of three elements 13, 10, 12 is provided between an engine 1 and an electric motor 2. The output shaft 5 of the engine 1 is connected to one element out of two elements excluding the first element and the output shaft 6 of the electric motor 2 and the input shaft 24 of a transmission 3 are connected to the other element.
