Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a base isolation device effectively operating in a wide vibration frequency range.
CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic chamber 8 formed with a seal member 10 is provided between a sliding face 4 formed on the foundation 3 and the bottom face of a supported body 2 supported on the foundation 3. A passage 14 feeding the pressure water to the hydraulic chamber 8 is formed on the supported body 2, and an orifice 17 is provided on the passage 14.
