Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic cylinder capable of instantly sensing and detecting that a rod contacts with a detecting object.
SOLUTION: The rod 3 derived from a cylinder body 1 is formed of a conductive material, and when contacting the tip with the object having electric potential by projection of the rod 3, the electric potential can be detected through a terminal 8 arranged in a head cover 5 from the rod 3 in an insulating state.
