Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly improve maintenance and inspection work for a lubricating oil in a reducing gear mounted on a motor by integrally forming the cylindrical portion of an oil gage with a housing for hydraulic motor and arranging it near a rotary portion of the motor to support the oil gage with the cover of the motor.
SOLUTION: A hydraulic motor device with a reducing gear wherein a reducing gear 14 is joined to a hydraulic motor 12 to supply pressure oil to the hydraulic motor 12 for driving a reducing gear mechanism of the reduction gear 14 engaged with the driving shaft of the hydraulic motor 12 includes an open 34 formed in the side face of a housing 16 encircling a rotary port of the hydraulic motor 12, with one end of the open hole 34 opening to the upper face of the reduction gear mechanism through the reduction gear 14 and the other end opening to the upper face of the cover 24 of the hydraulic motor 12, and an oil gate 38 inserted and arranged in the open hole 34 to identify the level of a lubricating oil in the reduction gear 14 via the opening at the side of the cover 34, the oil gage 38 being mounted in the opening via an engaging means 36.
