To provide a hydraulic motor configured to perform opening and closing operation of a supply port on-off valve by the internal pressure of a power unit, which can be started up from a stopping state, and an industrial vehicle such as a forklift.
The hydraulic motor includes: a plurality of power units 73 provided in conformation to the rotating positions of a crank and rotationally moving the crank by reciprocating between an expansion stroke and a compression stroke by supply of working oil; a first supply port on-off valve 73f for opening and closing a first working oil supply port 73d provided in such a manner as to supply pressurized working oil to each power unit; and a discharge port on-off valve 73g for opening and closing a working oil discharge port 73e provided in such a manner as to discharge the working oil from each power unit, in which the first supply port on-off valve is operated to open by the internal pressure of the power unit in the contraction process. The motor further includes a start-up means 15 which has a second supply port on-off valve 15c for opening and closing a second working oil supply port 15c provided in such a manner as to supply pressurized working oil to each power unit separately from the first working oil supply port, and operates and opens the second supply port on-off valve with respect to the power unit capable of rotationally moving the crank, on the basis of a motor start-up command for rotating a crankshaft from the stopped state, to supply the working oil to the power unit.
