Abstract:

To improve process efficiency during the production of a hydrocarbon compound.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydrocarbon production apparatus which comprises a co-electrolysis unit for co-electrolyzing water and carbon dioxide to produce hydrogen and carbon monoxide, a hydrogen separation unit for separating part of the hydrogen produced by the co-electrolysis unit and a first catalytic reaction unit for producing a hydrocarbon compound by using a catalyst for the remaining hydrogen after separation supplied from the co-electrolysis unit and the carbon monoxide supplied from the co-electrolysis unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
