To provide an excellent hydroforming apparatus capable of enhancing the working rate of the device by shortening the cycle time by making a facility and a line configuration compact.
A hydroforming apparatus 300 comprises a pair of shaft pushing devices 37 and 37 to axially press both end portions of a tubular work 32 accommodated in a forming cavity 5a demarcated by upper and lower dies 3 and 4 facing each other in a vertical direction, a hydraulic pressure generation device which fills pressurized liquid from the outside into the tubular work 32 with both end portions closed by the shaft pushing tool 37a of the shaft pushing device 37 to swell the tubular work 32, and a clamping cylinder 33 to energize the upper and lower dies 3 and 4 when hydroforming the tubular work 32 and keep them in a die clamping state. By using two sets of lower dies 4 each of which is alternately replaced by a die replacement device 51 at the clamping position W2 in a device body 31 and at the work changing position W1 outside on one end side of the device body 31, replacement work of the tubular work 32 to the lower die 4 of each set is conducted outside on one end side of the device body 31.
