Abstract:
To provide a hydroforming method by which formed products having a complicated shape are formed with high accuracy and at a low cost.
A work 1 consisting of a metallic tube is set in a metallic mold main body 2 in which a lubricating layer 4 is formed on the inside surface of cavities 2a, 2b and pressurized in the axial direction while adding internal pressure to the work 1 with high-pressure liquid, thereby forming work 1 into a prescribed shape.
