Abstract:

To provide a highly practical hydrogen occlusion material, wherein the hydrogen absorbing speed is improved while maintaining a high hydrogen occlusion content.

The hydrogen occlusion material is composed of a nanocarbon material at least doped with an alkali metal(s) and a hydrogen occlusion metal and/or alloy, and is also a combined body comprising the hydrogen occlusion metal and/or alloy and having voids formed by the nanocarbon material. A hydrogen storage vessel is provided with: a hydrogen occlusion means having the hydrogen occlusion material; a heat control means; and a pressure control means.
