Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy container which is easily manufactured and handled, has superior maintainability and adapts to expansion and shrinkage of a hydrogen storage alloy.SOLUTION: A metallic hydrogen storage alloy container 1 is provided which is connected to either a hydrogen gas supply source or hydrogen gas using equipment, is filled with a particulate hydrogen storage alloy 6 inside, causes the alloy 6 to store hydrogen gas and can discharge the hydrogen gas to the outside. The container 1 comprises: a cup 2 formed from a discoid bottom plate 2a and a cylindrical side plate 2b; an elastic metallic spiral spring 5; and a discoid upper lid 3 having a screw hole 4 for use in connecting either the hydrogen gas supply source or the hydrogen gas using equipment. The spiral spring 5 is stored in the cup 2 and the cup 2 is sealed with the upper lid 3 while the hydrogen storage alloy 6 is filled into a cavity in the cup 2 stored with the spiral spring 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
