Title:
HYDROPHILIC POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING ALUMINA DISPERSED THEREIN, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004123933
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a hydrophilic polyurethane resin composition having alumina dispersed therein, which, even when fine particles are used in a large quantity therein, undergoes little increase in viscosity, maintains transparency, and is excellent in adhesiveness to various base materials, water absorptivity, antifogging properties, transparency, flexibility, writing properties with a water-base ink, water resistance, blocking resistance, and lubricating properties, and a method for manufacturing the composition.

The composition consists of a hydrophilic polyurethane resin having a hydrophilic segment, a polysiloxane segment and a hydrolyzable silyl group, and a fine particulate alumina, wherein the fine particulate alumina is stably dispersed in the hydrophilic polyurethane resin solution.
