Abstract:
To provide a hydrotreating facility for hydrocarbon oil capable of achieving a high catalyst activity by decreasing poisoning of a hydrotreating catalyst and keeping the catalyst activity for a long term, and to provide a hydrotreating method using the facility.
In the hydrotreating method, a removal device with an absorbent for removing a poisoning substance is arranged the upstream side of the hydrotreating facility with the hydrotreating catalyst. The poisoning substance contained in raw material oil is removed by making the raw material oil contact the absorbent in the removal device followed by hydrotreatment.
